Antibody to P2X3

Catalog Number:

RA10109

Product Type:

Polyclonal antiserum

Immunogen Sequence:

VEKQSTDSGAYSIGH - Corresponding to residues 383-397 of the carboxy-terminus of rat P2X3

Host:

Rabbit

Reactivity:

Rat, Human, Monkey

Applications:

Immunhistochemistry, Immuncytochemistry

Description:

P2X3 from rat dorsal root ganglia that had properties dissimilar to those of sensory neurons. The P2X3 subunit has 43% and 47% identity with P2X1 and P2X2 respectively; 10 cysteine residues are conserved in all 3 subtypes, so that tertiary structures may also be conserved.
